In 2008 I started a business called ‘Sausage Dog’. It began with a wonky little duck I made from old curtain fabric, his name is ‘carrot duck’ (Spot him in the gallery below!). Over the years my business expanded. I set up shop in Afflecks Palace, Manchester, later moving to Manchester Craft and Design Centre and set up an Etsy shop. The family of characters has grown and my textile skills developed with ever more adventurous, interactive designs. In 2019 I closed Sausage Dog to study a Masters in painting, but my love for textiles is still strong. Some designs are still available online, but here is an archive gallery of the creations I’ve made over the years.
